Dialogue, laughter, and bonding around food are the common denominators which bring people together in every single region and culture. My fondest memories of travel will always be those made discussing wine around a dinner table, huddling by the street cart vendor, or packed elbow-to-elbow in a tiny mom & pop diner. Here on my blog, you’ll have some excellent cuisines and also useful travel ideas and “bites” of knowledge to assist you to plan your next retreat.
Nice to meet you and thank you for visiting, my name is Janet. I’m a trained Chef who gave up my career in the kitchen to travel the entire world and taste the food of each and every destination has to offer. I’m a full-time travel eater and at the same time, like to take pictures of various food dishes and cuisines I had been dining throughout these past years. Coming from numerous restaurants, food stores and food events, I’ll provide verdict based on their particular flavor, taste, presentation, ambiance as well as other factors which involve in managing a food business and overall customer care. I’ll direct you to what are the newest restaurant openings, best dishes, popular food items, favorite food hangout, food ideas, food trips as well as any food-related details.
I travel for a lot of my time. I enjoy it. Food and travel give me so much joy. I enjoy meeting folks when I travel, discover their particular recipes, eat at their restaurants and stroll their streets. When not wandering around, I could be seen in my kitchen or perhaps in a restaurant, perhaps a wine bar too. Alright, frequently a wine bar, and I love some karaoke action from time to time.
I love dining out when I can and getting ideas from the foods I eat, both when it comes to taste and presentation. Though I wouldn’t boast of being critics, I’ll be sharing my thoughts and reviews about the places and food which I love via this blog. I’ll also be reviewing tasty recipes coming from the numerous recipe books I gather. A few of my favorite chefs include Tom Kerridge, Heston Blumenthal, Jamie Oliver, Rachel Allen as well as Lorraine Pascale.
Sharing all of my experiences is part of the enjoyment and that is why this site began. Being a food travel for several years, my experience in the past life includes family and friends would frequently ask me where I stay or what restaurants I visited, and so the blog was made to answers all those queries. Sharing my experiences and offer information as much as possible concerning the food places I’d been and hopefully help my readers with regards to the food itself as well as the story behind it is my mission. Giving out my food experiences and quest in various places in which each travel destination comes with food and plenty of images involved in the quest for fine dining experience.
To show YOU how it’s completely easy to build a life of travel, and I am going to help you in achieving that while I share with you all my detailed vacation guides, escapades, resources, ideas, foods and much more!
